  • What: The authors have investigated three surface finishing methodologies to enhance the surface quality of additively manufactured surfaces (Fig 1). The aim of the coating is to maintain an amorphous structure, characterized by the absence of grain boundaries or phase boundaries, effectively mitigating the creation of initiation sites for corrosion.
