HIGHLIGHTS

• What: In comparison with the findings from other research (Knight et_al, 2019), the study showed that all GN organisms were intermediate susceptible to carbapenems. This work investigates the epidemiology of BSIs among pediatric onco-hematological patients at a single center in Wuhan over four years, focusing on the prevalence of specific pathogens, their susceptibility to antimicrobial therapy, and the impact of different phases of chemotherapy and HSCT on infection rates. This study has several strengths, including a comprehensive analysis of BSIs over four years and a detailed characterization of pathogenic microorganisms and their susceptibility profiles.
