  • What: Aim: This study investigates the discriminant validity of the closed-course version of the Standardized OnRoad Assessment for Drivers (SOAD) in Japan. The aim of this study is to scrutinize the discriminant validity of the closed course version, contributing to the further validation of SOAD. This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Tokyo University of Technology (No E21HS-019), and written informed consent was obtained from all participants in the study. The authors examined the discriminant validity by calculating correlations between off-road and on-road tests.
