    The authors sequenced the complete genomes of two virus variants, one from a Varroa-infested colony with conventional management (DWV-Fr1) and a second from a colony that survived Varroa infestation for several years (RecVT-Fr1). Variant DWV-Fr1 exhibited more than 95% similarity to the other DWV sequences, approximately 84% similarity to the VDV-1 sequence and 90 to 93% similarity . . .
