- What: In this research, the concept of image-based deformation measurement was investigated in comparison with the conventional geodetic surveying technique . This study seeks to investigate the concept of image metrology as an alternative for building deformation Alademomi et_al: A Study on the Structural Safety of Buildings using Image Metrology monitoring using stereo-photogrammetry and KF, aiming to minimize the loss of lives and the destruction of property due to failures of building structures in developing cities. A comparative analysis was carried out to assess the viability of image metrology for building deformation monitoring.
