- What: The survey was used to determine the students` opinions on the effectiveness of tools and individual semi-structured interviews were employed to obtain more detailed information. The study aims to explore the effects of using AI tools in higher education, specifically for improving academic English reading skills. Suppose the authors aim to develop students` comprehensive English language abilities. To bridge the gap, this research investigates the effectiveness of combining traditional teaching/learning methods with AIassisted technology to improve academic English reading skills in reading comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, and critical thinking.
