- What: Methods This was a retrospective review of a collected database of adult patients who underwent implantation of between September 2013 and December 2022 at the Department of Respiratory Medicine of the 1st Faculty of Medicine in Prague and Thomayer University Hospital. The authors focused on demonstrating the effectiveness and safety of this approach. In the study , pain or discomfort related to the expansion force of the stent was not reported by any patient, while purulent and difficult expectorations were reported by 15% of patients during the first two months postimplantation and in 50% of patients thereafter . . .
