Cross-education of muscular endurance: a scoping review

  • What: The aims of this scoping review were to provide an overview of the existing literature on cross-education of muscular endurance as well as discuss its potential underlying mechanisms and offer considerations for future research. This scoping review was conducted in PubMed SPORTDiscus and Scopus. This study was conducted and reported in accordance with the Preferred Reporting for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for scoping reviews (PRISMA-ScR) . Some potential underlying mechanisms (i.e., increased strength, bilateral access model, increased tolerance) are discussed in the present review; however, the proposed ideas currently lack experimental evidence . . .
