    Cuproptosis is regulated by protein lipoylation, and copper binds directly to the lipoylation constituents of the tricarboxylic_acid_cycle, which leads to the aggregation of lipoacylated proteins and the following loss of iron-sulfur cluster proteins, thus leading to proteotoxic stress and eventually cell death. The high-risk group patients had immunosuppressed, proliferatively active "cold" tumors, and the low-risk group patients had anti-tumor-active "hot" tumors.
