HIGHLIGHTS

• What: This study shows that ChatGPT4 can provide generally good information on impacted canines, interceptive treatment, and orthognathic surgery. The aim of this study is to evaluate ChatGPT-4 as an advanced AI tool, particularly its safety and accuracy as a stand-alone tool capable of providing evidence-based correct and complete information for the patient regarding three major orthodontic topics: impacted canines, interceptive treatment, and orthognathic surgery.
