HIGHLIGHTS
- What: The aim of kraft pulping is delignification to realize the fiber dissociation and achieve pulp with fine fiber characteristics (Iglesias et_al 2020). In this paper, the MeSH generation in the conventional kraft pulping was firstly investigated to evaluate the recycling period of kraft pulping to produce target amount of MeSH. The lignin chemical degradation is the main reason on the faster increase of dissolving lignin at high temperature.
