- What: In the present study, based on Horiuchi et_al , the authors examined the culture conditions for forming functional, extended bile canaliculi in cryoheps to establish a culture protocol for canaliculi formation in cryoheps. The authors attempted to form bile canaliculi using 4 lots of cells from different donors and confirmed that extended bile canaliculi were formed in all lots and had biliary excretion ability.
