HIGHLIGHTS
- What: The focus of this study will be on one of the most significant symptoms of MDD -- rumination (Zhang et_al, 2020). This study aims to fill the existing gap in the literature by employing a neuroimaging approach to investigate gender differences in the brain regions and networks adopted in rumination in young adults. The subjects in this study have relatively similar mental stability, thus their scores in the questionnaires were narrowly distributed. This study provided evidence for the link between FCD of postcentral gyrus and rumination level in males.
