- What: In this short review the authors aim to provide an overview of the structures of chiral ionic-liquid-supported and the synthetic pathways for these and catalysts. This Molecules 2024, 29, x FOR PEER REVIEW application has been presented by the research groups of Malhotra respectively. This short review presents a classification o described based on their parent catalysts. Given the encouraging results from other areas of research, the authors propose that a modular approach to the synthesis of ionic-liquid-supported compounds, particularly chiral ligands, represents an exciting avenue for investigation in this field.
