HIGHLIGHTS
- What: The aim of this study is to characterize the national practice patterns for using diagnostic biopsy for PNET, before and after the approval of DOTATATE PET/CT, to gain insight into how the availability of DOTATATE PET/CT has impacted the diagnostic workup of suspected PNETs. For this study, changes in trends identified with joinpoint regression can be compared to other known secular trends such as the availability of DOTATATE PET/CT. This study has several limitations that must be acknowledged.
