• What: Based on previous research, this study proposes Hypothesis 1: There is a bidirectional predictive effect of self-esteem and self-injury. This study proposes Hypothesis 2: While self-esteem directly influences self-injury, it may also indirectly affect self-injury through depression, with depression serving as a mediator between self-esteem and self-injury.
