Sticky costs in relation to geographical, sectoral and pandemic factors in smes in central european countries

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: This study investigates the phenomenon of cost stickiness among SMEs in the Czech Republic Poland and Slovakia analyzing the period 2018-2022 pre- and postCOVID-19 pandemic. When determining the research sample, the following filters were used: (i) geographical filter - the countries Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovak Republic were selected, (ii) categorization of activities according to NACE-Rev2 - only the manufacturing industry with all subcategories was selected, (iii) available economic data for the years 2018-2022, including Turnover in individual years, EBIT in individual years. - Only this part of the results deals with LE-type enterprises . . .
