HIGHLIGHTS
- What: The studies are related to the determination of the impact of the geometry of the return guide vanes (RGVs) on the indicators of the studied stage as well as of the entire pump. The study is performed using CFD simulations, and the numerical results are validated using experimental data obtained by the authors. The research is numerical, and for accomplishing this study, ANSYS CFX is used. The focus of this study is the intermediate pump stage, which consists of an impeller, vaned diffuser, and return guide vanes.
